    Hello dreamers!

We’ve been hard at work to come up with a new sound, a new look and new performances. Here’s a look at the last year!

    The Denver vampire ball!

    Aren’t we a lovely pair ?

    Second year!
And we’ve been invited back for a third! Look for us at the Winter Masquerade!

    Coming Out

I didn’t come out when I first knew.

It was a few days before I left. It wasn’t met with acceptance or understanding. It was met with the blaring “YOU’RE A FAGGOT” from my youngest brother, my little sister said nothing (terrified) while my birth mother circled me like a predator.

It was a blur. She screamed everything from profanities to having known the whole time and I was going to burn in hell for it. She screamed prayers and told me she knew I was possessed by evil spirits that made me this way. She smelled blood in the water and went for the throat. Like a good Christian extremist she had made it a point to make it known I’d never be welcome in her house again.

I didn’t see that as a bad thing. It was a blessing. I’d been planning to run away for months — now I didn’t have to. I wouldn’t be caught by the police or put into the system. I was free to go. It made all the suffering, the torture, the trauma, worth it in the end. I felt like I was free for the first time in my life.

She left the house for five days and came back to see me off as though she’d said none of those things.

I’ve never gone back. I’ve never seen her in person since.

I carry a strange loss that I think many of us carry. Parents that rejected us for who we love. The one that I lost, as it turns out, didn’t care if I lived or died but played the part well. The other actively abused me, drugged me and attempted to murder me. When I think of it this way it is a painful reminder of having no parents by birth that wanted me.

It’s difficult to mourn what you never had. It’s worse to mourn what might have been. So don’t. My advice is don’t dwell on it. We suffer for our right to exist and to love. We shouldn’t have to suffer for the love we didn’t receive. If your parents or loved ones don’t accept you, please remember you are not obligated to subject yourself to their abuse. If you live at home, try to let someone know, especially if you are being hurt or threatened.

I love you and I’m sorry. Continue to be who you are and sacrifice none of yourself for it. Be as beautiful and brave as I know you can be. Love is a worthy cause to suffer for but that doesn’t mean we need to be martyrs.

I’ll be posting on this website frequently relating to my struggles, my daily life, advice and music. We went through a bit of a rough patch there but we’ll be back on our feet soon!

    Hello there!
It’s been nearly a year since our last update and we do apologize sincerely for that! Recently I had some serious health problems but they seem to be easing up lately! Secondly, we are moving forward with our careers and are not continuing work with Babel Entertainment at this time. We will be continuing to release music here and there! So don’t expect that to go away!

We had a great time in Hawaii last year with Nobuo Uematsu and his band! the afterparty was incredible and his bandmates were absolutely lovely. I felt bad because of my language barrier and my Japanese is only intermediate but I think I did well enough (but a few embarrassing slipups can happen). Here’s some pics from our trip!

We have a great show coming up at Animeland Otaku-mex in New Mexico! We’re really excited about it! We’re planning a release of new music and we’re working harder to deliver a show to everyone that will be better than our last!

Speaking of music, my lovely dreamers, I’ve done a few new covers since my last update! I hope you enjoy them!

my next post will be a preview of what to expect at Otakumex! Stay tuned! Thank you so much for all the support and love over the past year. Especially while I’ve been in and out of the hospital (which is why my responses have been so delayed). c: I’m so grateful to everyone for sticking this out! See you soon, dreamers!

Tomorrow our adventure to Oni-con and HEXXP begins! We’re so very excited we could burst! Our preview was released a bit later than we’d like but we think it was worth the wait! All the tracks that will be featured on the album are to be performed and we sincerely hope you like them. <3

A big thank you to Bluepulse, Brandon McInnis, Timothy Williams and Derek Troxtell for working on Rose Red and I am the Rain!

If you want to check out our friends at Bluepulse look no further than these lovely links! They did the mastering and mixing for the music. 🙂

We’ve got a new site layout just for you, dreamers! And with the layout comes the first preview of our new EP, Mythos. You can download “Rose Red” from the Music page. Our original plan was to release two songs today, but due to some technical difficulties, we’ll be releasing the second song tomorrow instead. We hope you enjoy, and thank you again for all your support!
